Top Justice Department officials convened a meeting Wednesday where invited Islamist advocates lobbied them for cutbacks in anti-terror funding, changes in agents’ training manuals, additional curbs on investigators and a legal declaration that U.S. citizens’ criticism of Islam constitutes racial discrimination.
The department’s “civil rights lawyers are top of the line — I say this with utter honesty — I know they can come up with a way” to redefine criticism as discrimination, said Sahar Aziz, a female, Egyptian-American lawyer.
“I’d be willing to give a shot at it,” said Aziz, who is a fellow at the Michigan-based Muslim advocacy group, the Institute for Social Policy & Understanding.
The audience of Islamist advocates and department officials included Tom Perez, who heads the department’s division of civil rights.
“We must continue to have the open and honest and critical dialogue that you saw in the robust debate,” Perez responded in an enthusiastic closing speech a few minutes after Aziz made her demands at the event.
“I sat here the entire time, taking notes,” Perez said. “I have some very concrete thoughts … in the aftermath of this.”
The meeting at George Washington University showcased the expanding alliance between American progressives and Islamists, said Andrew McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor in New York.
Progressives “are making these Islamist groups into the [political] representatives of Muslims in the United States,” he told The Daily Caller. That elevation of Islamists to a leadership role sidelines the majority of American Muslims who don’t want Islamist leaders, as well as American Muslims who are female or gay, he said.
McCarthy investigated and prosecuted Egyptian-born Imam Omar Abdel-Rahman, dubbed “the blind sheik,” for urging Muslims to kill New Yorkers. Abdel-Rahman was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1996.

How can they even think about making criticism illegal; that would be a blatant violation of the first amendment of our Constitution(it could never survive the Supreme Court)!!! Anyway, so they really want America to be like the old Soviet Union in its worst way???
It would struck down in the scotus 5-4. If obimbo can replace one more American on the court with a commie lesbian, the vote goes the other way and the First Amendment would be struck down as “unconstitutional”….in fact, the entire constitution would be struck down as “unconstitutional”. This is what obimbo meant by “fundamental transformation”.

Everyone in uniform as well as political office, local, state or federal, has taken an OATH to defend, protect and uphold our Constitution. What does an OATH mean? Everyone who upholds this great document is an American Patriot and gives a damn about this Great Country, the United States of America. We see absolutely no reason to change it. Some do, unfortunately, and should be dealt with accordingly. In time of war, it was called Treason. Unfortunately we have allowed ourselves to become way to liberal. Now this school accomidated them enough to let them attend and this is how they thank them??? `The college, being a Catholic, PRIVATE school that recieves NO federal funding, doesn’t even have to let them attend as they don’t follow the Christian belief!!

What’s new? As far as I’m concerned this entire administration is a company made up entirely of Keystone Kops. I hate to use that description because they were funny, this bunch is deadly serious and extremely dangerous to our country. In all seriousness this bunch has done more to destroy our country than the terrorists could ever hope to. These guys have invaded every phase of our lives, crippled us financially, made us a laughing stock to our enemies and turned our friends into enemies. The world as a whole does not trust us, and it’s quite obvious why. We’ve betrayed our allies and praised those who would do us harm. The Department of Injustice run by Eric Holder refuses to enforce our laws, lets lawbreakers off, because he will not put “his people” in jail after they have been convicted of a crime. (The New Black Panthers). It is reprehensible that this guy will not only refuses to secure our borders, but files suit against the State of Arizona for trying to do so. Then we have the Gun Runner scandal. The whole bunch need to be perp walked to the nearest Federal Prison.

Hey everybody, the 1st and 2nd admendment are already under attack. The Cathloic University of America is under attack by Muslums because they want a room within the university without a cross and a picture of Jesus so they can pray 5 times a day. A teacher here in Florida is suspended because she posted on her facebook page her negative oppions of gays and the criculium of the way the gay lifestyle is taugh.
We are loosing our freedoms folks and unless we as a nation start to rise up and get very vocal, we will loose. I for one am not ready to loose and will do what ever it takes to get my country back. We don’t have until 2012. Time is against us.
The choice is yours to make.
